Ixiptla is a series of anthropology journals initiated by Mariana Castillo Deball, published in the context of exhibitions and art events. They are composed of essays by anthropologists, archaeologists, artists and writers and illustrated by a careful selection of visual material.
Ixiptla Volume III was published on the occasion of the exhibition Who will measure the space, who will tell me the time? at Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in Oaxaca, Mexico. This publication explores archaeological heritage and how it is expressed, contaminated or dissolved in the present.
